hey just wondering, am i suppose to patch the packed or unpacked elf?

Patching HDL is always done with the unpacked elf.

Anyone who is having problems booting their DVD9 games from HDD please let us know which method you are using to boot them, there have been multiple ways for GT4 and such.

The problem with the original patch actually had nothing to do with the dvd9 patch but was an issue specific to GT4 so if you guys could test it with everything you have, I'd appreciate it.

Even with the new SC2 patch it still hangs for me if the DVD9 patch is also done. Tried with a clean file patching with both patches and GT4 works but SC2 doesn't.

Here is what I've done.A clean HDL patched with hdl_patch 0.6c then patched it with the revised hdl_load.ips, then packed it.SC2,GT4 and Xenosaga Ep 1 JPN works fine here but MGS2 still not working.

if you are all having problems using the dvd9 patch in conjunction with crazyc's SC2 Patch why dont you just have 2 seperate patched hdloaders and when you want to play GT4 you start 1 hdloader which you could rename to some thing like Hdloaderdvd9 and the other you could rename to HdloaderSC2 that way you wont have any problems.

I prefer just switching the patches on/off from the menu before playing.
