HDL saying my almost empty drive is full
HDL saying my almost empty drive is full –
I have been using HDL with my segate 200GB HDD (ST3200822A). So far I have put four of my games on the drive. On the main HDL screen it says I have about 170GB free out of 183GB which is normal. However when I tried to install a few games, It checks the DVD and then asks for the game name like normal, then pops up and error saying there isn't enough room on my HDD when their obviously is. This has happened to me with both Jak II and Devil May Cry. After I got the error on DMC I tried installing it again and it appears to be working.
Is it normal for this to happen?
This happens to me sometimes. Usually its when I put a games full name in if its long. To avoid this now I just abbreviate, like when I installed Grand Theft Auto San Andreas I named it GTASA. Once it installed, I renamed it properly. Also, always make sure you give the PS2 enough time to detect the disc inserted, sometimes I don't and I have to try again. It always works second time around though.
ok just name the game 0
then install heh
remember just the number 0
after u done install'n u can rename it?
That seems to work great thanks
This only happens to be when a game name is too long. When I uploaded my SOCOM, the names was VERY long. I just named it NNNN or any random letters/numbers, then when it is done converting, you can rename or relabel it.
Hello.. How did you make your Seagate 200gb hdd ST3200822A work? I have a version 7 PS2 and a version 4 net adaptor i belive. But can not make it work. Always says hardware error. And i used winHIP to format it to ps2. sorry never mind. i got it to work
