I have been using Hdl Dump for awhile now and I never used to have a problem with it in the past. The speeds were decent in the past with no connecting problems.
But just recently I came back form a long trip, and now when I try to connect to my hdd in my ps2 using Hdl Dump, it almost freezes the program, then takes about 5 minutes to recognise the ps2, and everything just runs raelly slowly. If I try to transfer a game it goes at 0.04 mbps.
It's eating up all my CPU for some reason too. I recently switched to Lord Bogami's gui version 2, and hdl dump version 0.8.1
I'm using an old version of Windows Xp.
I don't know exactly what my problem is I'm hoping someone can help.
Execftps works fine and so does online gaming.. it all connects quickly, but when I try to use hdl dump it freezes up bad.
I tried going back to older versions but it isn't helping either.
I just deleted some stuff on my mem cards so it has enough room for anything, and I also deleted some room on the HDD so it's got like 15 gigs free.
Could it be partitioning problems? I don't know, but I need help please.
