HDL Dumb problem

Sorry <G> ran multiple searches, found alot of threads about connection issues, I can connect so there's no problem there.

Basically my prob is that when I try and transfer a game to the PS2 HD via Faplink or HDL Dump/Dumb it goes at 0.1MBits and says its gonna take 637 minutes or something to finish.

Not sure what the prob is, I could transfer files to MC and HDD via ExecFTPS fine.

Any ideas?

P.S. It could be that my router is coming up to my room then is going into a 10MBits HUB which then goes to my PC and PS2 thus limiting any connection to the PS2 to 10Mbits but as said ExecFTPS works fine and the connection starts off at around 2Mbits then drops to 0.1MBits.... I'll take the HUB out of the equation when I can to test it but I'm doubtfull thats the problem.

Why don't you borrow a 100MBit switch (there are no hubs anymore) from a friend and give it a try?

I have the same problem. When dumping over the network (example gta4) it takes 20 hours to complete.

The speed does not go above 0.1mbps ???
10 mbit hub is used. Still 10 mbit is 10 mbit

Twin X I had the same prob (as you know) I took my 10MBit hub off and plugged my router straight into the PS2 and dumped TNMT2: Battle Nexus and it worked fine, went kinda slow at 0.7MB but I think thats kinda normal.

So it must just not work with 10MBit connections. if you think about it if 100MBit only gets 0.7MB then 10MBit surely wont work lol.

Looking for a cheap 100MBit Hub/Switch now!!
