    Hi.

    Im wondering if there is a way to connect a pata hdd to my ps2 (v10) without the network adapter?. Im asking since im having trouble acquiring it.

    nop you cant because no one discoverd hd points on v10 or anyother fat

    There is no HD points on big PS2s. The chip which makes the network function also happens to be the IDE/ATA interface. On the slimline PS2s with "HD Points" this chip happens to be part of the motherboard.
    Basically the I/O port for the HDD is part of the network adapter which some older SLimline PS2s had onboard.... Newer ones have only the network part, making HD combo useless.

    So without a network adapter you're hosed. Sorry but that's the situation.
