HDD on v14/v15

Isn't possible to adding a HDD on v14/v15?

Or Sony just changed some connections? I still have not checked my v14/v15 yet.

What about using Matrix Infinity on slim model? I hear it don't works 100% yet (not boot, or something, I don't remember now).

$ony took off the ide connections off the v14/15's. As far as i know the Matrix is compatible with any model.

V12 and V13 had the same chipset as GH-026 old 50000 PS2s ... so it HAD the same chip as the 30000/50000 network adapter. Sony removed it, moved the network logic to the mechacon and since there is no real network adapter chip, there is no IDE. They totally killed HD connect lol

For the matrix you need a green dot matrix chip.

LOL I just said why you can't connect a HD to v14/v15. Sony took out the network adapter chip so there is NO IDE PORT AT ALL.

Some versions of V13 can .. on these there is 2 small square chips with solder bubbles under it. Some V13 have only one of the small square chips. the second one which had the IDE port is missing...
