Newbie here, I was attempting to backup my games onto my PC using PS2 Handiness .5. I backed up on game into an ISO with no problem. I closed the program to mess with WinHIIP 1.6.1. I then used this program to install and .mds image of a game. No problem with that...until then end. Now I get a error like this in WinHIIP
SCAN DRIVE ERROR There are unrecoverable partition errors (Partition Collision)
I knew this couldn't be good. I closed WinHIIP and started Handiness again. Program found the drive but no games being listed. Closed Handiness and started WinHIIP and received the same error as above. So, I put the HDD back into the PS2 and booted up. Games are missing from the listing, but the ones that are listed play fine (as far as I can tell). What happened and what should I do? Reformat the drive and stick with one program over the other?
I can't even see the games on the HDD now when the HDD is hooked up to my PC. I'd like to save the games before a format if possible. I'd ftp into the PS2 if I knew how to backup the games. Help!
