hdd partitions

Hi guys,
i finally for ps2mp3se to work :-) i m happy, i use this player to rip mp3 from cd & then i play then through mediaplayerpro, the problem is my ps2 & computer are not in the same room:-( so i cant ftp them, is there any simple way to increase the partition of mp3se cuz 506mb is very less for mp3:-(
i got an ntsc ps2(usa) i got a modchip but its not dms, any idea wat i can do to increase the space,

Yes, you can expand the partition using DMS Tool 1.0 attached to this post.

i can only make the mp3 folder 2gig max i cant make it any bigger as ps2mp3se doesnt show it, must be some limitation:-(
this dms hdtool is cool but is there a way to make sub folders in the ps2mpse's mp3 folder cuz i cant kep all the 400mp3s in one folder it makes it very untidy:-( is there a way?? if there is pls let me know,thanks alot Unrul3r for ur help,

Yea, DMS Tool works even if you have an unmodified PS2.

If you have LaunchELF you go to FileBrowser and access your MP3 folder, after you've entered it you can create a dir by pressing R1 and pressing New Dir

About the 2GB limitation, maybe someone else can help you.

LaunchElf is more like a program to browse your HDD,MC,Usb Drives. Usually you boot it from th MC Exploit, but i can see you can run elf files already.

Run BOOTc.ELF and configure the controller buttons for each ELF, when you are configuring you can also go to the MISC directory, and run Filebrowser so you can go to MP3 folder and create sub-folders.

If you have any doubts about LaunchELF, feel free to ask

Unrul3r thanks alot buddy llaunchelf works like a charm, i use to to transfer my mp3s from cd to hdd, works great havent tried divx yet but will try it later on, thanks alot dude, I LOVE THIS FORUM :-)

thanks again for ur help, u been very nice dude, launchelf works fine, i finally turnin my ps2 to a mdeiacenter all thanks to this forum :-)
through launch elf i can launch elf like mediacenterpro ,hdloader, but is there a way to save launch elf on memory card or hdd & boot it without a disc??
i have a modchip but its not dms so i dont have the dev modes :-(
is there anyother way to boot launchelf through hdd or mc or usb?
if there is let me know. thanks again

Yes, you can run LaunchELF from MC with the MC Exploit if you have an original PS1 disc. But i wont go into detail on the exploit.
Look on google for Independence Compiler and learn how to do the exploit.
