hdd no longer recognized...HELP

I am such a retard... i was gettin ready to put my HDD in my PC so that i could fix Starwars:BF... but i was thinking and plugged it in while the pc was on.. now neither my PC or my ps2 can see my HD... i even tried running dms hdd format and "no HDD connected"... does anyone have any advice.. will i ever be able to use it again?

had that prob too, exvpet the pc wasnt on, winhiip just phuked it up somehow, and there is no fix that I found, except to start form scratch.

im guessing you fried the HDD..... if its a SONY HDD, you might be able to get them to replace, Hopefully they will not be able to read the contents of the Drive. thats my only guess ...

I do have a question, You say you were going to fix Star wars BF?? ... what do you mean FIX? is there a fix out for the NTSC version that allows HD loader to boot it?

can you see it in the device manger in the PC?

it probabley shut your computer down didnt it, thats what it did to my dell it also fried my drive motor. Only hope is that it is a seagate. If it is they have a five year warranty. Go to thier website and see if its still in warranty.... mine was.

well there is another fix that u use files from the cdloader program.... i read it somewhere....im still messing and editing files to see if i can ifx the black screen for most games that dont work for hdloader
