HDD no longer has games...

OK.. this sucks...

My PS2 broke while moving in Feb... so I let a friend borrow my HDD and NA till I got a new PS2. He said that 2 weeks ago HDL would load (which loads from the HDD) but it couldn't see the games... I figured the setting partition got mangles so no problem.

I got my new (used) PS2 3 days ago and the HDD will not load. I've tried using HDL (pressed version) on it but it askes to format the drive... um, no.

So I tied browsing the drive with Launch Elf... and it shows no partitions. The drive spins up, the light blinks and I get no major crashing.... but I can't find my stuff on the drive.

I don't have a NT platform running on my PC .... so anything that I might be able to use will need to run on that... also I'm not sure my BOIS can handle a drive over 37GB.... I'm running a PII 400MHz....

I haven't tested the NA, as in trying to use another NA with the drive. It allows me to get online with it though....

I'm not sure if it is the HDD, NA, or the PS2.....

Try change your control pad of PS2...a firend mine lost all games from HD and the problem was the ****ing control ! :banghead:

My 7 year old 266mhz pc can recognize my two 160gb hdd so there shouldn't be any problems. Mount the hdd in your pc and launch Winhiip as it can tell you which partitions are screwed
