Hey i was testing out hdloader yesterday when i noticed a flashing yellow light under where the memory card slots\controller ports are. At the time i was very sleepy and thought my ps2 caught fire due to hdd overheating but after thinking a bit i was wondering if there is a ps2 hdd indicator light inside the ps2? Or is the light coming from my hdd. Just curious thats all. i have a v7 ps2.

That light is present in all PS2s of model number 30000 and higher. It indicates data transfer to and from the Network Adapter and/or HDD. It's like the disk activity indicator on your computer.
