I was transfering an iso to my HDD with HDL_Dumb, and I accidentally pulled the ethernet line (with only 1 minute left )

The program then locked up, and I had to restart the PS2 and HDL_Dumb to reconnect, but the available space listed was the same as before the transfer.

    My questions are:

    1) Did any data get moved to the HDD?
    2) If so, why isn't it reading, and is it fragmented/corrupted?
    3) How can I fix this?

The data was probably written, but the partition table wasn't updated to reflect the change. This is a Good Thing, as it means you can't access the corrupt data accidentally. Just copy the ISO again.

    So:

    1) Yes
    2) Because the PS2 doesn't know that the data was written
    3) Ignore it and copy the file again, if you were after a way to resume the transfer, then you are out of luck.

    Hope this helps

Since the 'free space' still remains the same as before the failed installation, the same sectors should be used again for the next ISO to be installed, regardless of whether that is the same ISO or some other one.
