HDD Combo fan noise

Hi,

I enjoy a HDD Combo attached to my V13 PS2 from nearly half year ago. I'm very happy with the item but the fun noise (I'm not sure about how many fans it contains 1 or 2) annoys me when I use it to see divx movies.
Has anyone try a "homemade" solution to reduce the fan noise of HDD Combo?

If you have a silicone gun, open HDCombo then fill surrond of the 2 fan(Not fan wings) with silicone.
Too easy...
