I am trying to install the Sony Browser update 1.1 on a 250GB WD Hard drive using APAEXT format. I have a DMS4 PRO SE chip and am using Toxic OS .41. When I turn on ATAD Patching I can boot the disk and install it, but when I go to the browser the HD never shows up. What's the deal??? The light on the HD stays lit the whole time while in the browser.

All I really want is a way to save my memory card saves on the HDD.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    David

I figured it out by searching through some forums

"with the slim and the HD-Connect/Combo you can't
currently browse the HDD. The MI team has found a way to install HDL to the
HDD on a slim with and dev2 installer they have and it allows you to boot
HDL in dev2 mode but I'm still unable to access the HDD with apps like
    ulaunchelf"

basically a bug in the v12 - i guess not really a bug more of a difference in the needs of the programs to access the drive

If the v12 is the slim version, then it's because the slims weren't meant to have HDDs so that's why they don't allow it.

I thought the v12s were the fat ones and the v13+ were slims.
