ok so i boot up hdl and try to run nfsu. it just gives me a black screen so i thought my hdd was loose. i unscrewed the na and remove the hdd but a little metal piece fell out and it turns out to be a pin from one of the power connects. now there's only 3 pins for power, is my hdd done? it seems to have snapped off, but how? is there anyway i could fix this?

mmm... u can try soldering it back in, it'll be a crappy job, and it may not work for very longer, but i'd suggest getting a new drive to replace that one

If your HDD still have warranty. I world say go to the HDD official website, create RMA, and send it back to get a replacement HDD.
