Is is possible to use hdadvance with the memory card and a psx games to load it from the MC?
if you mean HDloader, then yes....as for hdAdvance...since it hasn't come out yet...i'm not sure if any got it running yet....
like i said here: http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/show...4&page=2&pp=15
All you do is remove the dummy data off the SLUS file with a hex editor and rename it to "whatever".ELF (you get a file of about 412kb)
then just install inot MC
hi mate,
thanks
does your hdadvance cover both...cd and dvd version?
thanks
alex
There is no point to having HD Advance on the MC since its only a modified version of HDLoader. There isn't a single advantage unless you are booting from the CD.
sure there is a point - hd advance supports dvd AND cd, also i like the look and feel of HDadvance more over hdloader
point enough?
sure i want to take advantage of my flashable dms3 chip

The DVD version of HDAdvance is ONLY for people using SM/slidecard/fliptop. As stated many places, the only difference is a large dummy file on the DVD to reduce the number of swaps for installing large TOC games.
The only reason to use hdadvance, as far as I see it, is to get the ownz crap off the screen. (and maybe if you like the colors better...)

If you had the original HDloader you wouldnt have the "ownz crap" on your screen to begin with.Originally Posted by kugeln

I read somewhere that the elf is smaller therefore takes up less room on the MC.
Key's link 6 posts up tells you about the elf.
get the hdloader mc exploit installer and replace hdloader.elf with
hdadvance.elf make img with ps2cdgen .
use 1gb demo to install dvdrips
