http://www.g4tv.com/screensavers/fea...Station_2.html check out this quick article. From what I read it sounds like you can just put a PS2 game right onto your hdd and play it without a disc. Is that what they are saying?

Are the games that dont work the new games? Is there an actual list? It sounds worth it if you can download the loader thing for free somewhere but if most games dont work its not worth more then $10 to me.

if u used the DL version the list of compatable games goes up but u have to performa swap trix and such to get it working and probly kill some gears and such. I have seen it happen on a v4 costomer was doing it for 3 months then he broke one of the gears in his drive so i replaced for him and put in a chip now hes a happy campper. Save your time and get a chip

To me, all the new games ive put on there have worked perfectly, no glitches or problems. When i say new games i mean such as
    Marix: Path Of Neo
    Need For Speed: Most Wanted
    Smackdown vs Raw 2006

And soon i am getting the new p.o.p, 50 cent bullet proof etc. I think Hd advance is bloomin awesome (as long as you get 3.0)

The best and simplest way is to copy the games via the crossover cable. Use HDLD_SVR on the PS2 and HDL_Dumb on the PC, and be sure to change the TCP/IP settings of your network accordingly, IP: 192.168.0.1 SN MASK: 255.255.255.0 DG: BLANK

Well if someone is not using the memory card exploit and they have the CD they could use WinHIIP to get the games on the harddrive then install it into PS2. That works, I dont have a mod chip either, but I do have the memory card exploit via Action Replay MAX.

With the games on the hdd method, do you need to do the swap stuff? Does the slim ps2 have a usb port? If so, if I get a slimline and a USB hdd can I just put games on the external hdd through a computer?
