With Crazyc's DVD9 patch this time. They also seem to have used KeyLauncher or something like that as the docs state that you have to press any button on the controller while booting to launch the included HDA_Dump.

    They just don't learn.

    Yet I find it hilarious.

i think its sick. Peoples hard work once again screwed over for profit. Its an endless game that started with hdloader and trickled down to hdadvance and usbextreme. I was going to post news about this but why really, it will only give them added publicity as bad as it may be.

i really dont know why people buy/support this product, eventhough they know that- this guys werent the original maker of this product and this guys are using somebody work like those patches... it really sucks when people rip ur work then sell it for their own selfish profit...

i know a forum site that, people are so dumb enough eventhough u told them hdadvance is just copy version of hdloader, and told them they should support the original one or say negative comments on hdadvance- theyll gonna defend it and react some thing like this, thers no update version of hdloader thats why im buying hdadvance or say it can play more games than the old hdloader and they curse u there, its like hdadvance was their god..

    im talking about afterdawn...

The people who would buy this either don't know about the HDLoader updates or don't want to take the time to figure out how to exploit their memory card. Most people don't know about the exploit.

Well its simple. Not everyone has a mod or an exploit method so they buy something that works out of the box on an unmodded system.Personallly I would just get an exploit setup, but if the laser can't read cd's, you are stuffed. Also there is the matter of ignorance, not that many people outside the scene know anything about exploits or of modchips that can boot from dev1 mode (or a are willing to screw around with it)

Ah, finally found out that HDA3 also has the new compatibility menu in it. So those peeps have absolutely no idea on upgrading it other than to patch it with HDLPatch.

Luckily there are few helpfull people in the HDA forums pointing mislead people in the right direction.
