HD loader wont let me install any games! says not a valid ps2 disc!

I dont get it. I started using the new version of HDloader and now whenever i try to install any game it just says "not a valid ps2 disc" when it tries to read off it. I went back to my old version and now its saying the same thing for that too! the games all work fine off discs so it cant be my ps2. this only happens on my new ps2 though, with the the old one works fine and dont get the message...why do i get this message on my new ps2? its scph3003 or something i think only used the console for 5 min and it plays discs fine but cant install anything on it using hdloader.

Reformat the hardrive and redump the games.
