hd loader problems

k i got the hd loader and but my gameshark is to new of a version is there a way to make a gameshark 2 version3 work with the hd loader?

i have a gameshark 2 and got it to boot with hd loader but was never able to boot up a game after i installed it on the hard drive. i would ditch the cd route with hdloader because its a pain to swap discs in order to boot into it. use the mc exploit instead to boot into ps2menu, from there you can launch just about any homebrew application. check this tutorial out and it will get you started. the tutorial doesn't mention it but you might want to also include dms hdd utility this will allow you to create/delete partitions as well format the hdd.

Does DMS HDD Utility format? I thought it only does create/delete/expand partitions.

do you have a sharkport of xport? you can download the save and load it into the memory card.

If you read the readme that came with it, you'd know that if you held down the four shoulder buttons during the splash screen it will go into format mode, warning you it will erase all your data.

you can just download the save that has ps2menu on it that has a title.db with a ton of psone games. do a search for the mc exploit sharkport/xport save on google. we are not suppose to post sites where we get files from.

here is a tutorial to add more psone games to the title.db. you can use ps2 save builder to replace the title.db file that you got from the downloaded package.

I think only gameshark is compatible with hdloader. I have no problem running the game with gameshark v 4.1. So gameshark disc - hdloader/hdavance disc - Games
