First off, let me start by sayin that I have been lurking on your forum for about a week now and this is my first post! (only cuz i couldnt view the forums correctly or post threads, which I today discovered was because of something Zone Alarm Pro was doing)

Ok, this may seem like (or maybe it actually is) a stupid question but.....
Can I put the Free HD Loader on the Memory Card of my UNMODDED PS2 and use it just as i would the pressed disc version of HD Loader? I believe that I have read that apps like ExecFTPs and FAPLink are capable of adding/removing files from the Memory card of a PS2 when it is connected to a PC thru the Network Adapter. If this is so, could I not just connect my PS2 to my PC and push the HDLoader ELF (and whatever else) onto the MC, like I have heard of ppl doing? If so, could someone please give me a hand figuring out how to do this or else point me towards a thread or tutorial dealing with this? I'm not a PS2 N00b, but I have been out of the PS2 scene for some time now, and I only got interested again after reading about HD Loader in one of my mags. I have been readaing up on it but the sheer number of different apps and possiblilities make it kinda overwhelming and difficult to track down very specific info, any help you folks could give me would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance for your help....take care all ^^

I should also mention that i do not have a mod chip, swap magic, a slide tool or a flip top cover, basically just a standard run-of-the-mill PS2...thanks again

well, you'd need a way to boot a burned disc to run the exploit/execftp/whatever. I'd have a friend install the mc exploit for you.

well if you dont have mod/ or swap methods u need to go to a friend that has a mod or a swap soulution and install mc hdadvance with the independence exploit. If you dont have a friend then.. go to the store and find an old version of gameshark 2 or action replay 2. with that.. u can load it then take off your ps2 tray cover aand slidecard in a cdr .. thats the only way eather mod or swap..
