HD Loader/Advance Change Modes?
HD Loader/Advance Change Modes? –

So far I have had no luck using HDadvance to rip a game to the HD(read errors) so I have been using WinHiip with the drive attached to the pc which is much faster.
My question is is it possible to change the mode with HDadvance so I don't have to take the drive out and hook it up to pc and use Winhiip to change? From what I can see, Hdadvance will only let you delete or relabel a file and not change it's mode setting.
BTW, love HDadvance! All 9 games I have tried so far, work great.

You sure can, just hit Select at the game selection screen and change whatever modes you want or need to.

Thanks Man,
I now remember reading that. Feel like an idiot. Thanks for the quick response.

Funny thing about this is that this same problem has just started for me too... Ive been loading backups on my hdloader for a while now (Backups which I own the original game for) But recently none of the backups have been working with the HDloader but the originals work great... I thought it would be the dvds I used but I never changed them... I'm still using the same spindle that I have always been using.. I don't believe I have changed anything else that I can remember, although I did change the timestamp patch from v3 to v2 for Snake Eater to work correctly... Possible Link? Anyhow, the reason I want to make my backups work with HDLoader is because I want to be able to go online with my games with the patched iso's on the harddrive so if the Smap Patcher does come out, I don't have to put all new iso's on the harddrive to go online...
