    i was sent an image of hd advance i havent got a mod chip in my machine so i take it if i burn this hd advance onto a dvd-r the ps2 wont run it?

    no of course not. the only dvd-r that is going to do anything your system without a modchip is a copy of a DVD movie.

    if you don't have a modchip, please refer to the Swap disc / no-mod subforum on this site. lots of good information and tutorials.
