i don't know what the source of this problem is but after a dropped ps2 resulting in the disc tray getting stuck. i disassembled the ps2 and reassembled it and now hdadvance won't read my hdd

it's still a valid hdl partition according to winhiip and the jumpers are correct

so i don't know what the problem is maybe rechecking the wires but does anyone know how i can test my network adapter to see if thats the cause
