I try to start fap, and it decides, for some reason, to boot in PAL mode. Having an NTSC TV, I can't see the output, since it's jumping around like an overexcited puppy. If anyone could provide the default screen output, I'd be appreciative.

As for Execftps, it's using an IP that is not supported by my network, and since I can't FTP, I can't change the IPConfig.dat file. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I think you need to modify the SYSTEM.CNF file, IIRC you need a "VMODE = NTSC" line for NTSC...

    From documentation:

If CONFIG.DAT is not found or cannot be read from default folder, then
these following folders will be checked for the file.
    mc0:/BOOT/EXECFTPS/
    mc0:/EXECFTPS/
    mc0:/SYS-CONF/
    mc0:/SYS-CONF/IPCONFIG.DAT
if the file isnt found in any of these folders then the default net setup (192.168.0.10 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1) will be used.

ExecFTPs is obsolete, use uLaunch.ELF instead.

The IP shows up fine after I press X. Before that, however, it comes up with some kind of config screen. And since it's jumping so much, I don't know what it might be outputting. If I can get that text, I'd be able to go on my way without any major problems.

You launch PS2Net in MISC menu, and you do IP setup in config menu.

ExecFTP is no good, it's really a piece of crap, and it's not really FTP, but it's similar.

    Other Questions
    1. Is "PS2NET" built into uLaunch or is it an ELF that I download then install on MC?
    2. How do I connect to my computer, do I run a program on PC?
    3. Does it work with OSX? I only have MAC. I could run Virtual PC for Windows apps.

    Sorry I'm new at this.

PS2Net is a "module" of uLaunch. IIRC you can activate an ftp server with uLaunch, but i don't know how well it works.

If you want to execute elf/irx on the PS2, for OSX you could try "pksh" or "ps2client" and "ps2link" on the PS2...

    1) PS2Net is one of the options in MISC of uLaunch.ELF( Make sure you run latest version. )
    2) I tried ncftp in Terminal in Tiger.
    3) Works nicely with all IPv4 implementations I know, including miAmi, QNX, Breezy and Tiger.

Ok, I think my question needs better wording.

Can anyone tell me the controls for configuring Faplink?
