harvest moon, elflaucher, hdloader and .hack infection

I used to have lauchelf 3.41 and when i tried to play harvest moon it always froze before start game screen -if i remember right-. using hdloader 0.7c patched.
yesterday i changed lauchelf to latest version and now harvest moon working 0.0 .. i didn't change hdloader settings or version
may be there is similar problem with .hack games? like error in memory allocation or programs don't let game play.

ps. will hdloader load if i use it instead of loading it from lauchelf? i use memory card exploit, so i'd like to check it, but can't now.. i want to boot hdloader without lauchelf loading first. - if it'll not boot i can't play untill i find some hardly reachable friends -_-

just rename HDL elf file to BOOT.ELF and replace Launch Elf.....

I'd suggest setting up a second card with HDL on it... and keep the first card intact.... you never know when you will need to use Launch Elf

I noticed Harvest Moon suddenly started to work as well a couple of months back for me. Never considered it could be uLE related, but in hindsight I guess it could have been.

test failed, hdloader doesn't load by itself.. it seems it will only load from lauchelf.
is it possible to unload lauchelf from memory after loading hdloader? i suspect it possibly can conflict with some games.

That is not just possible, but mandatory.

Whenever LaunchELF starts another program, it also 'abdicates', letting the new program become the 'ruler' of the system (Basically, the EE processor runs singletasked programs, unlike a real OS like Windows, where applications normally run in parallel). The only things that remain active, in some cases, are device drivers and subprograms running under the IO Processor. (That includes the networking servers, if you start them.)

Some programs don't clean out the IOP space to reload their own drivers, and then they end up using the drivers of the previous program instead, like those of uLaunchELF for example. And since those particular drivers have some special bugfixes applied, some programs run better that way.
