About LinkBacksOk, so I've and heard Half Life won't install to the HDD using HDloader. Has anyone tried transfering it to their HDD yet by other means? Is this game 100% incompatible or is it just a problem getting it to the HDD using loader? thanks

that's because a: your disc is scratches up or b: your laser sucks, if you want it on there so bad iso it with dvd decrypter and hdl_dump it, oh and then shut up and quit calling people liars because you're not smart enough to install a game that plenty of people have.

i got the german pal and uk pal version of halflife! and both installed via hdloader and NO problems! (pal ps2)

well he obviously doesn't know enough to use hdl_dump to get around fatal read errors so he doesn't deserve to be able to play the game. He's the one that started firing of the liar remarks. So I shall crown him asshat and never read another post by him.
