GT4 .. toxicOS?

ps2hd.com reported that GT4 works with toxicOS using its HDloading capibilities... if this is true, it gives it a big edge over the current HDLoader & HDAdvance, can anyone else confirm this?..

Supposedly:
They saying youll be able to burn it to a DVD+r DL and it will play.
Nothing about playing it off the HDD.

Toxic team found a way for their DMS4 chip to play DVD9s backups on burned DL DVDs with an image patcher.

Following this release they say they will release a another patch for other modchipped systems to use these game.

Maybe with this patch well be able to to run the DVD9s off the HDD.

You never know.

i kno i heard about that also... but if you goto ps2hd.com.. and check its compatibility list (which is for hdd loading only) it says GT4 ToxicOS Compatible

Their OS contains an on-the-fly patch for the PTP burning method. I assume it also contains a Dual Layer patch too so the console don't need to check. Hope other companies catch on to this, my laser can't handle much more.

^ its not... if any you actully goto ps2hd with the link i provided... it "says" u need to flatten it and send it over thru ftp for it to work... but it does work.. i just want to kno if anyone can confirm this

So this new update thing is only for people who either have dl burners or a DMS4 chip, basically?

No, it's for people who have dms4 chip AND hdd or dms4 chip AND a dl dvd burner. Untill someone figures out another way you will need a dms4 chip to play any backup (dl dvd or hdd) of gt4. Which I might add really sucks for the rest of us.

This site has become extremely biased towards DMS and toxic lately. Something is definetely going on there.
