GT4 on HDD, someone did it?

I tryed GT4 on hdd merging both layers in one big dvd5 layer (with cdvdgen 1.50 patched) but the game hangs after the logo, someone did it?

I heard the same reports.

It hangs after the logo.

I believe the game needs to be hacked to work properly with HD Loader.

Well they said they would make it hard to do backups of this game

but I guess the protection is somewhere in the elf file

HDLoader Compatibility Modes for DVD9 Games

The following Modes need to be enabled for the 3 DVD9 games (Xenosaga, MGS2: Substance and Champions of Norrath)

Xenosaga: Enable Mode 2

MGS2: Substance: No change needed, will work in any mode.

Champions of Norrath: Enable Mode 3

From both DVD+R9 and HD.

Ya know to my knowledge..no game has worked on DVD+RDL yet, with any modchip.
