got new hd

i just got a new hd, 200 gb ,i used it on my xbox ,now i have one spare hd with 10 gb , this hd is the one that was in my xbox so i was wondering if i could use it in my ps2 and if it can be used what do i need to do to use it,format it? any special program? , i already have the independance exploit in my mc,thanks in advance

You need to format it first and then load games on it with WINHIIP. 10Gb is not a lot of space for current games though.

i know, but ill use it just for a few or maybe just to store save files or something

You don't needa use winhiip... you can use hdloader... just boot hdloader up and it should format... remember that not all drives work in the ps2...

thanks,im using winhip since my hd is only 10 gb but i have a question it tells me how many mb i want in the partitions so what do i need to do there?

You can still install games on a 10 gig using the elf... anyway, just leave the defaults..

the default is 128 mb in mbr and 0 mb and all the rest
