    BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_210.64;1

    but as I don't have the game I can't test it yet.

    can someone try it?
    Works like a charm!! You are a genius!!

    Question.. If HDL Dumb supported it (full path to startup ELF) couldn't we just put that path to the ELF when transfering the file? I thought that the system.cnf was really only used by the transfer programs to "suggest" which ELF was needed to start the game. I have made iso's before in nero that were not really ps2 compatible but worked fine. The only difference I noticed was that winhiip and hdl_dumb didn't read the system.cnf and provide me with the executable. I always had to manually type it in.

    This would save time by not requiring people to re-build the iso.. In fact I think winhiip allows you to modify the startup executable, before and after the image has been installed. We can probably just do that.

    Worked for me and you don't have to rebuild the iso, just use ultraiso, extract the system file, modify it and put it back in the .iso.

    cuz on hd dumb u can change the start up id(SLUS_210.64) just rename it to GE2RDVD.ELF

    This seems to be the same as my original SWBF workaround, so i was thinking of starting a thread with what games work with this method.

    If ppl can pm me with the name, region and what the system.cnf has to be changed to i would be glad to start one once i have a few titles

    i will also post easy instructions

    thanx
