I am looking for a patch for the GOD of WAR (pal) to work with the HDadvance v1.1. It stops loading at the SONY logo. My PS2 v9 setup is 80Gb Seagate HDD, external Ethernet adaptor and Muppet chip.

    Cheers,
    Vincent

I'd also like to know how to make the unmodded iso (7,5 GB) bootable from my PS2 (v/) with HDA1.0 retail. apparently there is no patch made, yet. and the ripkits seem to freeze at a certain point
guess we have to wait for a fix.

You need to use HD Loader, it's patched for the dual layer games.

Once you install HD Loader onto your mem card, you will never whip out the HD Advance disc again...

I have both HD Advanced 2.0 and HD Loader installed on a partition on my HD. I have the same problem with the game stalling at startup on the Sony Screen.

I have tried all modes with both softwarez and there is no elf to start the game off when uploading it to the HD. Patch??? TIA

    EDIT NTSC btw
One day the truth will be told, until then I'll just live with the lie.

My PS2 doesnt pick up cd's anymore so i cant use a disc to trigger an exploit. My original HDAdvance does work though and that is the only way i can play this game. So is there a solution for those with original HDAdvance discs?

    use HDL_dump 0.7c or rip/flatten the game.
