you don't need the ps2 hard drive to work with the system.

which system can't you get your HD recognized in? (the PC or the ps2?)
Consoles: ps2, xbox, nds, psp, wii, xbox360

Your PS2 will NOT show up in explorer!!!

    Here is what you do.
    1. Connect HDD to PC (slave or master.. whatever)
    2. Start WinHIIP
    3. Select HDD (in WinHIIP program)
    4. Then the HDD should show up.
    5. Select which games to transfer..

..when done. Just exit. Shutdown PC, and move the HDD to your PS2.

    If this does not work.

You might have to transfer games over through your network.
    Using LordBoGami program instead.

Its sloooooow... but works. Takes about 1 hours to transfer a game..
So go out and play, while the program is transfering the games.
