Games no Longer Working HDloader

As you can tell from the title 2 games on my hard drive have suddenly stopped working and i have no idea why. The load up perfectly fine until the get to the intro video, in which case some green lines appear on the screen, the video is skipped and it then freezes at the start menu. I have unplugged, and replugged in the hard drive, reinstalled the games, and tried loading them in every mode with no luck.

The two games that stopped working are Another Century's Episode 2 which i have been playing for a few months now, and SD Gundam G Generation Wars which came out last month and i have been playing it up until today. All of the other games on the hard drive except for these can anybody help me to solve this problem or am i just out of luck.

I believe I am using hdloader version 0.8c but i am not 100% sure

First off, what model hard drive are you using, what model is your PS2, what program did you use to rip your games? You're not giving us a whole lot to work with here.

Alright i am using an old fat ps2 with a 250gb maxtor hard drive. All of the other games i have installed work perfectly fine, and these did too untill yesterday.
These are both japanese games but i dont think thats the reason they stopped working. Hopefully i gave you enough to work with.

Try removing those games and install some other but the problem is that the new games that you install must use the same space that the old games used.After you used that space that those previous games used try installing them again and check them(check if the new games that you installed are working)

My previous hdd was maxtor too and I don't know the reason but at one point I got bad sectors(I don't know if that hdd was already damaged when I buy it).I was able to install and remove games but can't copy the games that were using those bad sectors to my PC hdd(only remove and install)

also you could try to scan & repair in WinHIIP 1.7.6
