Formated W/ Dms hdd tool.. Now What?

I was finaly able to format my drive after a couple of days playing w/ hdloader.. The dms tool was alot easier... My question now is that since i formated with the dms tool is there anything differnt I have to do? or can i just start installing games thru the pc? Also does installing with dms give me any other options that hdloader would not? Thanks in advance......

i am not sure...but doesnt dms jus formats ur hard drive, wut i mean is whipe it clean......well maybe i am wrong...but i dink that u need hd loader to install some of the files so that the hdl_dump will recognize the HDD...

So what exactly do i need to do? b/c hdloader is not working for me... and i thought dms tools was an alternat method.....

ok...first plug in da HDD into da PC...now go download a file called hdl_dump or ps2 handiness or ps2 utility.....at ps2stuff.tk......now use one of the programs and see if it recognizes ur HDD...if it doenst....that means the HDD need to be formated with HD Loader befor it can be used with the programs

I did do that and found that Winhip tells me i need to format with hdloader.... while hdldump does not and allows me to install a game... I am about to test it will post results.

yep yep...u have to format HDD with hdloader...if ur hd loader doesnt work...go dl one of the cracked versions

Actualy the dms format works i guess i just have to use hdldump to install games... thanx for your help.
