could a game iso be modified to use say ps2menu-k autorun or that new boot.elf to launch the game elf, would either of those clear loaded irx files. If you say modified the sytem.cnf to run ps2menu/boot.elf that then calls the game elf

no, what we are looking for is a complete re-write of hdloader for support for dnas games as well as dvd9 games.
Also, you ask how can I know this. I said it before, search. This has been talked about before...
well I have searched and all I see is speculation and conjecture.
Yep, it's all speculation. There's really nothing we can do about it, unless someone here has superb coding skills and can really find out the problem.
couldn't you just coy the irx files so that the hdloader and DNAS could use it

If DMS or sjeep read this please release the HDLoader source code please(lol some chance)
What is so hard to understand here??
Once a irx file is loaded into memory it stays there (if you don't flush it) and the same irx file can't be loaded twice, it creates a conflict.
I guess it's the same thing with games that uses the HDD. Since the hdloaded is already accessing the hdd, the installed game won't be able to. Kinda' like allocating the same memory space twice.. you just beg for trouble![]()
then i guess its not possible
