first time using winhiip, should i worry? –
my games have been backed up through ps2 and hdl disc. now for the first time, i'm taking my hd out and connecting it to my pc. i want to use winhiip to transfer an image. should i worry about winhiip messing up the images i already have on my hd? are there better alternatives to transfer images from pc to hd, or should i stick with winhiip 1.7.2? much help appreciated...
I'd suggest HDL_Dumb, it's easier to use and less likely to **** up. Of course, this represents only my personal, humble opinion.
Yes you should. When I first used winhiip it deleted a bunch of games, listing them as bad partitions, but they weren't, they ran perfectly.
I'll stick with hdl_dump.
Does the latest hdl_dumb have network support Dr, if so, does the prog have any advantages over hdl_dump?
It does have one significant advantage over any other transfer tool or GUI (like LordBoGaMi). It's simple, slick, small and incredibly easy to use. And it offers networking support as well ...

i'm with timberlandman winhiip is a product and hdl_dump is what it's name implies a piece of d!!! .Network support is also a piece of d!!! cause it's slow and no one will ever make it fast. And that's the bottom line cause zander said so!
