To install ANY game that has "Fatal Errors" with HDLOADER you will need to use your PC and Hdl_dumb/p v0.4 or winHIIIP.

Create the iso with "isobuster" http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/

Right click the "CD" (very top of tree in left window)
    select "EXTRACT <CD IMAGE>"
    select "user data"

Browse to a location on your PC HD to dump the ISO

When it starts to read the CD it will tell you there are ERRORS and ask how you wish to proceed.

At this point select "DUMMY REPLACE" and wait for the CD ISO image to be created onto your HD.

It may take a while to get past the errors on the disk but IT DOES WORK !!!

When complete use "HDL_DUMB V0.4" or "winHIIIP" to install the xxxxxxxx.ISO

Finally pop the ps2 HD back into the NA and fire up HDloader to play

    SpaceMonkey

    Notes/

    1. you MUST create an ISO.
    2. you CANNOT read from the CD even on your PC. (see 1)
    3. you SHOULD be able to use any pc to ps2 hd dumping program.
    4. you SHOULD also be able to use "winISO" to create the correct image.
    PS2 - Pal 30003 - Fliptop - 250gb Maxtor
PC - Vapochill XE (-22 Deg C) with some other stuff
    GBASP with 1g F2A Ultra
    DS with nothing yet
and a GameCube (ask the wife why!)

Finally got my fatal error games to work. It did take about 25 mins to create those dummy files but in the end it all worked. ISO Bust did the job. Thanks for the info!

I think there is a patch you'd also have to use with that... look it up. I'm sure you'll find the answer here.

Sony has NEVER sold a console at a loss!

WHat they do is spenda lot of money in R&D to make the console, and sell at an initial high cost that covers the cost on manufacture, plus profit. then they start to lower the price as they get the production costs down, and before long the price ha droppe,d and when theconsole sell s enough to make back th e R&D cost, the money just keeps rolling in!

Contrast with the x-box which the retailers at first wouldn't even sell to you unless you also bought enough GAMES to cover the loss on the console!!

This myth was born when the us release of the ps1 beat the pants off the saturn with it's low price. it was so much lower than the cost of the jap rollout. Everyone just ASSUMED they were dumping. But in fact the cost of production had went down considerably before the US launch.
