What can I do with a External USB HDD on my ps2? I already posted another thread about that but haven't got any precise answers.

And please : no stupid answer like "who would want to use a USB hdd?" .

    Thx for your help.

Yeah thx, very precise! you say "anything" and you say there isn't any program to use it for ps2! -.-

Think of my external usb hdd as a Usb Key of 40 go..

What is that keylauncher thing? Will it make me able to put fules on a usb device and launch them with that program?

I heard that the media player with the last gameshark/armax can work with usnb devices of that kind, is that true???

My gut feel is that the USB ports are USB 1.0 ??? Can anybody confirm?
If so, they would be pretty slow (1mb /second max)

he obviously meant 'nothing' ... so what's usnb?

Think of my external usb hdd as a Usb Key of 40 go..
    I can't. it isn't

it will launch applications assigned to a button on the controller iirc from either the mc or the hdd. i'm not sure on usb support. the latest version may have the ability too.

    ...................

now before you flame me for not helping, go actually try it and report back if you can get it to work. It would seem if this is your second topic on the same subject (as you say) that no-one actually has a step by step guide to do what you want to do. It's up to you to work it out.

It goes in the Expansion Bay and connects to the IDE and power plugs on the back of the Network Adapter.
