    I think cutting the Network adapter is better. so u can use it on other ps2. if not u have to cut ur other ps2, if u have more then one.

    Yeah...I guess, But I had to hack the shit out of my N/A to begin with...As it didnt fit my WD HDD...So I figured I'd give her a rest!

    that's very impressive how you pulled that one off! I myself couldn't use an existing hard drive I have since it doesn't line up with my sony adapter. Could you possibly show me how to do that as well? Thanks much for your time!

    since any hdd will fit now, since i'm also doing the external drive bay thing, what hdd is the best? still maxtor?
