As you can only access the memory card directly anyway, this shouldn't be a problem. Have you tried mounting the HDD to see if the pfs folder appears?

i can see the hdd in mine after i mount it but it really is useless...you can transfer stuff over or receive anything because of the speeds. its only useful for transfering files to a partition on the hdd if you set one up.

yes, i tried to mount a partition of the hdd, with this command:
SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:+MP3
and i get an error like this: 550 ...... mount failed
i think the raw command is correct, 0 = zero
the partition was created with the DMS Format Tool.

Do you have the latest versions of FlashFXP and execFTPs running? I use FlashFXP 3.0.2 (build 1045) and execFTPs v0.69, and they're the first versions I got running together flawlessly.

boot he has the programs running and he can access stuff. he just cant mount the MP3 partition in his hdd to be viewed by pfs.
well quant so far it looks right. mine was SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:+TOOLS as i boot my elfs off hdd using keylauncher. i actually had that error happen to me before. i just turned off then turned back on ps2 and loaded execftps again and also reloaded flashfxp and it worked.

I know, but I asked for the latest versions of those tools. I've had execFTPs 0.68 running before, which crashed regularly, and I needed two different versions of FlashFXP, cause one only connected to my hdd, and the other only connected to my memcard. Since I have the versions stated in my previous post, I have no such problems anymore, that's why I was asking.

Quant, this is a known bug caused by DMS HDD Explorer 1.2.
If you boot Execftps from your mc, you will see hdd/ and psf/ alright.
Or just use DMS HDD Explorer 1.0.

ok, i can't connect to the ps2 if i start execftps from hdd explorer 1.2. i know this from my first tests. now i do this procedure: start hdd explorer 1.2 with devmode2; start PS2MENU-K from hdd explorer 1.2 and than start execftps.
do you know the bug has still affect?
or do i have a problem with my HDD-TOC?
now i will test...

Simple :
Execftps 0.6.8 on DMS HDD Explorer 1.2 only allows you to see the mc/ folder.
Execftps 0.6.9 on DMS HDD Explorer 1.2 doesn't allow you to connect at all.
So just use DMS HDD Explorer 1.0 if you want to boot Execftps (any version) off the HDD or just put Execftps on your mc.
