All of those don't work. The __boot one was working for a tiny bit, with the UMNT line working after doing the _boot one, but then it just stopped working. I'm using a crossover cable and FlashFXP. I just want to put some damn Genesis roms on the HD, that's all :(. I don't have a modded PS2 to read roms off of CD-Rs.
And it is NOT on passive mode.
I'm not an expert on execftps, but only way that it works for me is "SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:name" ... no + ... hence your boot one working, I have an extreme issue with it freezing frequently as well, but I hear the newest version fixes this problem, but I only upload an elf or a rom on occassion so its no big deal, give the newest version a try if thats not what you're using

I've also had problems with mounting my hdd until I got the latest versions of FlashFXP and the execFTP server. And as far as I know, you can not mount any HDL or HDA partitions. So I created a partition with the DMS tools. Those are the ones with a "+" in front of their name, for those who don't know. So, get the latest versions of the server and the FTP tool and don't try to mount HDL / HDA partitions, and your problem might be solved.

yep correct boot.elf . glad to know some ppl are actually taking the trial and error method. you need to create a partition with DMS tool FIRST. name it w/e you want then go to flashfxp and SITE MNT /pfs/0/ hdd:+(*) with (*) as the name of your partition and it will mount. then just go to pfs/0 and upload anything you want into there. a tip though 89, read through it all instead of skimming...

That's where I downloaded HDD Format. I got HDD Explorer 1.2 working, but both of those HDD Format's just hang on "Loading from Memory Card" when I try to load them from the memory card. I have no DMS chip.
the newest version of flashfxp will not show anything... but the version of CuteFTP Professional will. So what do i need to do in flashfxp to get it to show whats in the memory card.
CuteFTP Professional works just fine.
The versions I have work together just fine. I use execFTPs v.069 and FlashFXP v3.0.2 (build 1045).
