ExecFTP problems. –
06-15-2006,08:12 PM
[Sorry mods, had no idea where to properly put this]
I recently moved, and we have a new router. The old one is gone, sigh! But now when I attempt to load EXECFTP, using FLASHFXP, set in passive, it says connecting, and then says connection lost. The Swap Magic CD I used is long since broken, as well. I was wondering a few things:
Could I use the DVD Swap magic, using the PS2 exploit program on a DVD?
Is there a way to get back into the Memory Card exploit, even though everything has changed?
I have tried everything, but it won't connect. I've even used a static IP as close to the PS2's as possible, and get the same connection problem. I haven't tried HDLDumb yet, because if I remember right, it's got the same settings as Execftp. Any help is welcome, and sorry for the wall o' text.

routers have different default gateways.
some use "192.168.0.1" (default setting of the ps2) or "192.168.1.1" or maybe some other weirder number. changing the default gateway can also change the ip
to check yours, go to cmd (start->run->cmd) then type in "ipconfig" and make sure that the numbers there match the ones on the ps2.
