everything boots EXCEPT HD loader??

I installed a Duo2se in a friends v4. I tested out a few backed up games DVD and CDR and they all work fine. So I installed a hard drive and try to boot up my copy of HD Loader and the ps2 wont read the disk?

this is wierd because it works in my PS2 and his laser doesn't seem to be that worn if its reading everything else w/o a problem.

I suspected it to be the CD so made an image and burned it on a DVD-R, still no luck. Is the file too small and the laser isn't able to adust the the starting point? anyone else have this problem??

hmmmm thats weird. try running hd loader from the mem card exploit. if that doesnt work then i dont know. sorry man

put your ps2 in the upright position

and if that doesn't work, you have a bad hdl executable. redownload it

Where is everyone downloading this file?

Isn't it like 150Mb?
I've looked all around, and I can't find a file that large

no the mem card exploit file is like 500Kb
and the reason for you not finding the file is because most of us stole from someone who stole it from someone if you get my drift
