espn nfl 2k5 and hdd support

i downloaded the patch to enable hdd support for nfl 2k5 but it still doesnt work with hd loader, is there a way to get it to work with hdloader? i read that it only works if burnt to a dvd-r, but i dont have a modchip

Please use the search function in the future.

No game will have HDD support enabled when playing from HD Loader. The patch is only for people playing from a DVD backup that wish to use a third party HDD to install suppport files. It does not enable the support functions when playing from HD Loader. There is no way around this.
