Has anyone made a ppf patch for this yet? Yes, I know it just came out yesterday but since patches are out for all the other ESPN games out already, I thought it would be the same deal or very similar. Does anyone know what the ESPN patches modify in the iso to get it to work?

I beleive the ESPN games work just fine no matter how they are installed. The PPF patches are made to be applied to an ISO of the game before installing to the HD to make the special features (replays and halftime show for example) to work with a 3rd party HD. I tried the PPF for NFL and didn't see any extra features? Maybe I had a bad patch......

I actually thought so too. I guess it turns out [as I read] the patch is applied to the ISO and then burned to a DVDR. You then play it off the disk and I guess it detects your hard drive for the special features and what not. You dont have to install it to the hard drive though. I just found this out though and I was hoping it would be different for the other ESPN games.

Oh I see....thank you very much for that bit of information. I'll have to rip the image back of the HD and burn a disc but I'll give that a try and see what happens.
