Error message using PS2-Unpacker

Hi all, I was hoping someone could help me out with this problem. While unpacking the elf file, I'm getting an error that reads:

Out of range memory read: 02000000 at 01B01410
0280902D 01b013F0: daddu s2, s4 zero
1620000F 01B013F4: bne 21, zero, 0x01B01434
etc, etc. Just a page full of memory errors.

Anyone know what could be causing it?

that file wasn't packed with ps2-packer. try sjunrcunch instread

I just tried that but when after I patched it up and tried to repack it, PS2packer spits out a 0kb file. Is there another packing software that I'm not aware of? I haven't seen mentioin of any other program mentioned. Thanks for the help.

search for a post called super simple elf patching. download the zipfile extract it inside a folder and drop the elf onto the packelf bat
