ELFing of HDLoader SLUS_202.02 ??
I got HDLoader retail. Fantastic program, I backed up all my games on my Hard drive and now, they all can be easily played with the usual benefits of hard drive loading that you surely all know about.
Now for my question: I cannot pack HDLoader.elf (made from my SLUS_202.02 on my cd) back to the standard 400-500 kb. I know the usual file found is another slus number. Why am iI the unlucky guy who got this other one??
You see I want to protect my investment in HDLoader by backing it up in my MC and triggering it with a cheapo 5$ PS1 game bought from the video rental store. (I've been able to load anything I want with my title.db of driver 2, Launch, ps2menu etc... No prob whatsoever)
I've tried HDL/HDA aio, HDL edit 0.3 (excellent program that last one, very straight foward).
First I though I did it wrong. Then I got searching on the net and found a HDLoader compress download. Basically that version is scrap, but it worked the first try . I had tried many many many times before with my retail HDL slus file with no success.
I don't understand, anybody knows about this issue so I can know if I should quit or stay stuborn and try to make it work??
Thanks for your help :banghead:
So much for my sig!!!
