I spent the last 20mins uploading Gundam Seed Destiny (ep 12) to my lil partition on the HD, in thought that Reality Media Player actually loads files from HDD partitions.. Turns out, it doesnt -___-"

So, wondering if any of you guys might have stumbled across something similar to the reality media player (basically anything that can decode divx/xvid files from a hdd partition). Wud be greatfull

So far there are no apps which plays movies from the hdd. Your best bet would be reality player using the ps2vfs, basically you play your movies by network.

you could make an iso of a booting ps2 reality media player CD with a movie and try to launch it from hdd loader...... ok... im not sure it will work but who know....

maybe someone did try before but who know

@strikeuk: I've already used the ps2vfs option with Reality =P The only reason I dont like it, is because the transfer rate is not fast enough, thus the movie 'lags' behind =/

andreq: no. tried it. doesn't work. when loaded from hdloader and you select the cd-drive from ps2-reality, it actually goes to the cd drive. so no.

Speeds using FTP are around 0.6 MB/s.. So it would appear to be a 10mbps adapter.

Online games hardly use any bandwidth, so theres no point in putting a 100mbps chip in there (usually couple KB/s up and down).
