The colour problem and flickering is because the game is PAL and your TV set is NTSC which doesn't support PAL.

My TV is multimode so I have never patched a PS2 games video mode but ADR patcher should do the trick to patch the game to NTSC.

Heres the patcher. You have to first create a game image onto your pc. Open the program, browse for the iso file or whatever the game image is, set the offset, and patch it. Most people said offset 48 is the best but I prefer 40. But thats only on my TV as all differ. You should try 48, then 40 for the offset. And I dont think this will work if you burn the patched game. You should patch the file and send it through WinHIIP or whatever program you use via pc to PS2.

Can someone confirm a problem with budokai 3 that makes the screen put over images of players when Selecting "Change Player" when in a battle in "Duel" mode?

    Thanks

Are you using the patch I posted? Its because the patch gives the PAL games color but it doesnt perfect them. Pal games, mainly from Europe, use tv's that ave more lines in them so its different from ntsc. You can try different offsets or go to the options menu in game and change the screen position.

the NTSC version is out and works fine.

a word to the wise, you can shrink the game to 1.44gb from 4.something gb and save some space on your hdd.

view the lba order through iso buster, and drag the files accordingly to cd/dvd-rom generator, export image, combine to iso, install to hdd.
